Karin Gassmann, M.D.

Doctor Karin Gassmann graduated from the medical school at Charité – Humboldt-University Berlin Germany in 2001. She completed her ophthalmological training at the Eye Hospital Berlin Marzahn and the University Eye Hospital Basel. In 2007, she received the German and European specialist title in ophthalmology (FEBO) and in 2013 she was awarded the Swiss specialist diploma in ophthalmic surgery (FMH). At that time she was working as senior physician at the Cantonal Hospital in Winterhur. During the past 10 years working in a Swiss private clinic, she obtained a broad experience in surgical and medical treatments of eye diseases.

Doctor Karin Gassmann is an active member of the Swiss and German Ophthalmological Society (SOG / DOG).
